Tip of the Week

The Farm Museum of Rose Hill Manor Park is located at 1611 North Market Street in Frederick.

The Farm Museum was founded in 1978 by the Frederick County Farm Museum Association, Inc. The association has developed exhibits of late 19th century and early 20th century agricultural practices and farm family life. These exhibits are designed for a self-guided tour April-October.

The Farm and Family Exhibit Building houses the following exhibit themes and displays: The Farm Family Kitchen; The Farmerīs Carpentry Shop; The Farmerīs Broom Shop; On the Farm Pork Butchering; a Rumly Steam Tractor; and a Wheat Thrashing Machine. The Bank Barn houses The Planting and Harvesting exhibit which includes a large collection of agricultural hand tools and machinery.
